Celebrating 10 Years of the Sea Change Family

In September 2026, we celebrate 10 years of the Sea Change Family, supporting emotional wellbeing across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and surrounding counties.

Our journey began in September 2016 with the launch of Sea Change Psychotherapy Ltd, founded on a simple but powerful belief: that everyone deserves access to safe, high-quality therapeutic support at the moments that matter most.

Over the past decade, that belief has grown into what is now known as the Sea Change Family – two connected organisations working together to support children, young people, adults and families through psychotherapy, early intervention and community-based emotional support.

The Sea Change Family

As our work developed, we went on to establish The Sea Change Trust, enabling us to deliver specialist therapeutic projects, early years support and listening spaces for people who may otherwise struggle to access help.

While our organisations are distinct, we work closely together, sharing values, vision and a deep commitment to social impact. Together, we create welcoming, inclusive spaces where people can be heard, supported and empowered.

The Power of 10 Campaign

To mark this milestone anniversary, we are launching our Power of 10 campaign.

Over the next 12 months, we will celebrate through a series of fundraising and community activities, bringing together supporters, partners, schools, local businesses and the wider community. Importantly, all funds raised as part of our 10-year celebrations will go directly to The Sea Change Trust, helping to ensure that vital therapeutic support remains accessible to those who need it most.

Looking Back – and Forward

Over the past 10 years, we have supported thousands of individuals through psychotherapy, early years provision, therapeutic groups and listening spaces – offering consistent, compassionate support at times of challenge and change.

This anniversary is not only a moment to reflect on how far we have come, but also an opportunity to look ahead – strengthening our services, deepening community connections and ensuring that support continues to reach those who need it most.
