Trusts, Foundations & Corporate Partnerships

At The Sea Change Trust, we know that lasting change is only possible through meaningful collaboration. Support from trusts, foundations and corporate partners plays a vital role in helping us deliver accessible, early mental health support to children, young people and families across Shropshire.

We value partnership as a two-way relationship, one that creates shared impact. Whether funding a specific project or supporting our core work, we work closely with partners to ensure their values and goals are reflected in the difference we make together.

Why The Sea Change Trust needs your support

Late intervention due to a lack of resources across the health sector is the catalyst in a list of issues that are preventing children and teens from getting the mental support they so desperately need.

Late intervention in infant mental health is estimated to cost the public sector in Shropshire over £74 million per year and the UK over £17 billion. Rigorous long-term studies have shown for every £1 invested in early intervention for vulnerable families, there is a saving of between £4 – £9 in the future.

Just over one in three children and young people with a diagnosable mental health condition get access to NHS care and treatment and 76% of parents reported that their child’s mental health deteriorated while waiting for support from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

Every bit of help, no matter how big or small, is a step towards better care for our communities.
